Hello, I’m going to be building a Magento based store selling foot stools.

On each product, I was the customer to be able to customise their chosen stool using custom options. For example, on the right hand side of the page, you can choose a Colour Group, when you select your desired group, another option will appear below which will allow you to select your desired fabric.

The results that appear in the fabric box will be based on the Colour Group from the first option.

Once you’ve chosen the fabric type, you then get some other options which won’t be a problem once I’ve found out how to do the first one.

My problem is that I’m not sure how I can go about doing this. I know when you setup products, you can have Configurable products or Grouped products but I’m not sure which combination of these will give me my desired result.

If anyone could help me with my dilema I would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Scrooby.

You should be able to do this using configurable product.
